7 months: The fetus at 28 weeks is about 12" (31 cm) from head to buttocks, and weighs 2-3 lbs (900-1350 gr). There are more than 10 billion nerve cells in its brain. If the baby were to be born now, there's a great chance it could survive outside the mommy. It's best however, for the baby to stay in the mommy longer, so it can get even stronger before it is born.

9 months:
The baby is huge now! Talk about tight living quarters! Not much room to dance anymore but the baby will be born soon and can finally get a good stretch. The baby is now about 14-18" from head to buttocks and most weigh 6-8 lbs (2700-3600gr) To get ready for takeoff, the baby moves to an upside-down position shortly before birth so that its head can come out first.
